Montage Project

Reflection:
During the process of this project, I was rather confused as to what had to be done, considering that I was absent when the montage was assigned. I made several other montages but wasn’t satisfied with the results. As I was doing the assignment, it was difficult because I didn’t know what tools we were able to use. All in all, this was a hard assignment for me. I know I could’ve done better. No more absences for me!

For the project, I used various techniques like the layer mask, move tool, brushes, text, and how to manipulate color.

My Expectations

My expectations for computer art this year is to learn how to successfully use Photoshop, or at least learn some new tricks. I also want to learn how to use Photoshop ImageReady since I never really got the hang of that program, and I'm really interested in animation. Since this is the career I want to pursue, I want to grasp an idea of what it takes to be in the industry. I hope this class challenges me to think even more outside the box and get really creative with new ideas.

One of my impressions for this class, is that some students fail to function a computer or navigate the internet properly. Others are unprepared and need to take initiative. I hope the class runs smoothly progressing into the year.
